Tive o prazer de assistir a este grande espectáculo (Festival de Bregenz 2007 - Austria), que aqui gostava de recordar.

Compositor italiano que nasceu em Lucca (Itália) em 22 de dezembro de 1858 e faleceu em Bruxelas (Bélgica) a 29 de novembro de 1924).
Tosca
É uma ópera em três atos de Giacomo Puccini, com libreto de Luigi Illica e Giuseppe Giacosa, baseado na peça de mesmo nome de Victorien Sardou. Estreou no Teatro Costanzi de Roma, a 14 de janeiro de 1900. Quando a ópera estreou, a 14 de janeiro de 1900, a atmosfera política na Itália era tensa, com muita agitação revolucionária de caráter socialista e anarquista contra a monarquia e a política reacionária do rei Umberto I, que seria assassinado em Monza seis meses mais tarde. A rainha e o primeiro ministro assistiram à estréia, e por essa razão alguns temiam um ataque terrorista contra o teatro. Tosca era uma ópera profética do século que estava para começar. É uma ópera sangrenta, e este seria um século sangrento. Esta versão moderna da ópera, apresentada em Bregenz (Áustria), faz parte de uma cena-chave de James Bond, Quantum of Solace.

Johann Chrysostom Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart nasceu a 27 de Janeiro de 1756 e faleceu em 5 de Dezembro de 1791. Foi um compositor influente do período clássico, autor de mais de 600 obras, e um dos mais populares de todos os tempos.
Le nozze di Figaro
As bodas de Fígaro é uma ópera-bufa em quatro atos composta por Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, sobre libreto de Lorenzo da Ponte, com base na peça homônima de Pierre-Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais (Le Marriage de Figaro). Composta entre 1785 e 1786, foi estreada em Viena, em 1º de maio de 1786. Diz-se que Mozart começou a ter problemas com sua reputação a partir desta ópera, que satirizava certos costumes da nobreza. Há quem considere esta a obra-prima de Mozart.
A acção desenrola-se no Castelo do Conde de Almaviva, algures perto de Sevilha, no ano de 1785. Fígaro e Susanna, servos do Conde e da Condessa Almaviva, estão noivos e casam em breve. O Conde mantém um longo assédio sexual a Susanna o que a faz duvidar que este venha a cumprir a sua promessa de abolir o tão odiado Direito do Senhor, que estabelecia a prerrogativa de se deitar com a serva antes de a entregar ao futuro marido.

Foi aluno de colégios de freiras vicentinas, franciscanos e jesuítas até se licenciar em Comunicação Social e Cultural, na Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Seguiu-se o trabalho como jornalista, na redacção do Jornal de Letras, Artes e Ideias. Argumentista das Produções Fictícias, foi co-autor de Herman 98 e Herman 99 de Herman José (RTP), O Programa da Maria (SIC, 2001), Hermandifusão Portuguesa (RDP), Felizes para Sempre (Expresso), As Crónicas de José Estebes no Diário de Notícias, entre outros.
Por volta de 2003, depois das primeiras aparições na televisão, interpretanto com Zé Diogo Quintela, Tiago Dores e Miguel Góis, várias rubricas no programa O Perfeito Anormal, na SIC Radical, dá arranque ao projecto Gato Fedorento cujo colectivo viria a tornar-se uma referência do humor português, com o programa Gato Fedorento (Série Fonseca, Série Meireles e Série Barbosa) ou, já na RTP1, a Série Lopes da Silva e o Diz Que é Uma Espécie de Magazine, durante o último programa na RTP. Contratado pela SIC em 2008, participa no programa Zé Carlos e Gato Fedorento: Esmiúça os Sufrágios, em 2009.
Actualmente, escreve semanalmente no jornal "A Bola", bem como, continua a sua escrita na revista "Visão". Tem um espaço na rádio TSF com o nome de "Governo Sombra", programa esse que partilha com Pedro Mexia e João Miguel Tavares.
